I will meet you at my offices, or your office for an initial consultation which lasts 45 minutes. The fee is $100.
I ask that if you have documents that you want me to review, email them to be ahead of time, and I will take a quick look. I want to get a general idea if what you're facing. Or if you want me to draft a document, you may want to send me your notes.
From the initial consultation I will give you some feedback on what I see as the principle issues. From there you need to decide how you want to proceed. Have me work on behalf of all the parties, on your behalf only.
I will always present you with a contract and estimate before I begin work. I am conscious of the fact that legal bills can be a burden, and work with you to control your fees.
For businesses I make arrangements for a $1,000 per month retainer that assures you of 5 hours of legal time per month so you can call and chat with me about issues and concerns. This often saves you a lot of money. I usually get called when clients suspect there might be an issue and want advice on how to handle the matter.
